Friday morning, the team was introduced to their boat owner, Barry Gold, as well as the sailing pros that assisted the team. Club Sailing sailed Sundari, a 40 foot racing yacht, FARR 400. Saturday was the first day of racing, it was a lighter day, and the team was able to complete 3 races. The wind was medium, around 8-10 knots with clear skies. At the end of the second day, the team was doing well; coming in at 3rd place in the IRC Class.

Despite, the team was doing extremely well. After the first race of the day the team had moved into 2nd place in the IRC class. However, minutes before the second race, a mishap occurred. The strong winds coupled with the waves caused a boat malfunction. Because of this, the team was forced to withdrawal from the race to repair and retrieve the jib halyard and headsail. Shortly after the necessary repairs were made, the Race Committee suspended all further races due to strong winds. Still, the races the team was able to complete in were very successful.
